To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the start of her art modeling career, my friend Pegi curated a gallery show of works featuring her as the model created by the many artists she’d worked with over the years. To coincide with the opening of "Artists and the Model: A Quarter Century with Pegi Taylor," she commissioned me to design and produce an edition of 120 letterpressed, hand-bound chapbooks. It was a privilege to compile her essays alongside the wonderfully varied artwork featured in “The Crest of the Iliac.”
Fun fact: the x-ray on the cover is actually my hip bone.
