Fresh out of art school, I landed at an agency that had The Museum of Modern Art as a client. I was responsible for translating MoMA's charming holiday cards into gift wrap and labels—my first dream project. Years after creating this collection, a friend gave me a present wrapped in the purple and blue Ornaments paper. Before I could tell her I had actually designed the gift wrap, she said, "Isn't this wrapping paper cool? When I saw it, I immediately thought of you and how much you'd like it." A very accurate observation, indeed!
